Since the installation of Windows 10, I have NOT been able to use Mozilla Firefox. It won't, even, stay loaded. The screen appears for a second, then disappears ... a blue (really, black) screen flashing off and on from firefox to black screen, etc. Then, it freezes ... no working cursor, nothing! The message that is displayed in a box (coming from the edge of my computer) is 'Display Driver Intel Graphics Accelerator Drivers for Windows 7(R) stopped responding and has successfully recovered.' NO, IT HASN'T! Like I stated, it freezes my screen. Obviously, the Windows 10 install did not upgrade this driver, or something. I tried window fixes, troubleshooting, etc. and NOTHING recognizes any problems. Yet, it keeps doing it. I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, etc. There were other gliches; BUT, I think that I fixed them. I will know as time continues. Anyway, has anyone else experienced this problem; and if so, did you manage to fix it? If so ... how. I read about a clean boot; but, I'm afraid to try it. I have two computers and a netbook; and they all share a network. The other two seemed to have taken the Windows 10 upgrade just fine. They seem to be working. It is this one (in fact, my favorite computer to be on), that didn't. Please, help.
Shar
P.S. Also, a box keeps popping up, occasionally, stating that I have no antivirus protection from vipre or Windows Defender. My vipre antivirus is showing enabled. Anyway, to be safe, and sure, should I remove my vipre antivirus and just go with Windows defender? Maybe, something upgraded wrong, and it isn't recognizing vipre somehow.
Most problems with Firefox can be fixed by following the troubleshooting methods described below. Try these steps in order. If one doesn't work, move on to the next one. If you need extra help with any of this, we have a community of volunteers standing by.
Table of Contents
Sometimes problems can be fixed by simply restarting your computer and then starting Firefox again.
Many problems with loading web pages can be resolved by clearing Firefox's cookies and cache:
Firefox Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that disables all extensions, uses the default theme, turns off hardware acceleration, and uses default toolbar settings and controls, among other things. To start Firefox in Safe Mode:
Some Firefox issues can be caused by a problem with one of the Firefox program files. Follow these steps to completely remove and reinstall Firefox. This process will not remove your Firefox profile data (such as bookmarks and passwords), since that information is stored in a different location.
Note: You might want to print these steps or view them in another browser.
Now start Firefox and check to see if your problem has been fixed. If it hasn't, continue with the next troubleshooting method.
The Refresh Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring your Firefox profile to its default state while saving your essential information.
Note: When using the refresh feature, your bookmarks, browsing history, open tabs, windows, passwords, cookies and web form auto-fill information will be saved. However, your extensions and themes will be removed and your preferences will be reset. Learn more.
Note: There's also a Refresh Firefox button in the Firefox Safe Mode window, if you can't start Firefox normally. You can also do a manual refresh by creating a new profile and transferring your important data to the new profile.
Sometimes files in your Firefox profile folder that correspond to the essential information that a Firefox Refresh doesn't remove (such as bookmarks and browsing history) may be causing the issue. You can create a new, additional profile which will not contain any of your old Firefox data. See Profile Manager - Create, remove, or switch Firefox profiles for instructions.

If you've tried all of these troubleshooting methods and you're still having problems, the issue may be with other software or hardware on your computer.
Troubleshoot the Flash plugin
See Flash Plugin - Keep it up to date and troubleshoot problems.
Check for conflicts with your Internet security software
Some Internet security software (including antivirus, antispyware, and firewall programs) can cause problems with Firefox including blocking it from opening websites, crashes, and more. Often you can open the program's settings, remove Firefox from its list of allowed or trusted programs and it will be re-detected and things should start working again. If your program is listed at the Configure firewalls so that Firefox can access the Internet article, you can get specific instructions for how to properly reconfigure it.
Check for malware
Malware (short for 'malicious software') can cause problems with Firefox. Periodically, you should scan your system for viruses, spyware, or other malware. For more information, see Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware.

I just reinstalled windows 10 X64 on my PC and I have weird issue with Firefox 64.0 (64-bit). The taskbar is visible when I watch YouTube videos in full screen also the background is visible on the sides and bottom of the Firefox window. This only happens if I enter YouTube full screen if I snapped Firefox to the right or left side of the screen beforehand. Also when snapped, the windows background is visible trough a small 1-2 pixel boarder around Firefox.
Thank you

Firefox may crash due to various reasons, but you can fix most crashes and reset features with Firefox’s Safe Mode. However, these tricks will not cure every accident
Web browsers are complex pieces of software that interact with many other software – extensions and themes on your system, plug-ins, security programs, graphics drivers and more. Incompatibilities or older software can often crash

Reset Firefox
Firefox stores your personal data in a profile folder. Problems may occur with your profile folder, but you do not have to waste time to identify and fix the exact cause. Firefox’s reset feature will create a new profile folder that migrates to your bookmarks, browser history, saved passwords, cookies, and auto-filling information.
When you reset Firefox, you will lose your extensions, themes, search engines, and site-specific preferences. Especially extensions and themes can crash, so it can help to get rid of them and start with a clean profile
To reset Firefox to its default state, open the Firefox menu, point to Help, and select Troubleshooting Information
If Firefox is again crashing after restoring your preferred extension, then one of your extensions is probably due to crashing to identify whether a particular extension is causing the problem, one by one Try to restore the extension.
Disable hardware acceleration
The Hardware Acceleration feature of Firefox uses your computer’s graphics card to present text and objects on a web page. This web page renders the rendering and takes some loads from your CPU. However, hardware acceleration can cause problems with some graphics drivers and graphics cards.
You can determine that hardware acceleration is the problem by disabling it, to do this, click on the Firefox button and select the option. Click on the advanced icon and uncheck the use of hardware acceleration on available checkboxes.
